Every Saturday, a group of dedicated high school students from the Los Angeles County Area come together to provide Chinese tutoring and homework help to elementary school students. Our program is driven by the vision of building a strong educational foundation for these young learners, not only in Chinese but also in other subjects, fostering a love for learning that will accompany them throughout their academic journey.
At our tutoring sessions, we go beyond academic support; we aim to create an environment that fosters friendship and personal growth. Through interactive and engaging activities, we hope to not only impart knowledge but also build strong relationships between our dedicated volunteers and the eager young minds they support. We firmly believe that positive and caring interactions are key to encouraging students to excel and develop a lifelong curiosity for learning.
Moreover, our program serves as a bridge between cultures. We introduce elementary school students to the beauty of the Chinese language and its rich cultural heritage.
